This is in vintage pre-owned condition. Estate found. There is age related pitting/discoloration/oxidation. The keys depress properly and have a nice bounce. Untested, as none of us can play the trumpet. There is some dings in the bell. Also includes 21"x 8"x 5.5" hardbody, felt-lined, snap-lock case, Herco brand mouth piece, and a music stand attachment. The case has general use wear and tear, such as some marks & peeling on the exterior, and discoloration on the interior. Everything included is pictured above and is being sold exactly as pictured.     Vtg New Era European Trumpet with Hard Shell Case Early 1900s Keilwerth? Czech?
    For your consideration is this vintage brass "NEW ERA" trumpet.
    We cant find any markings indicating a maker, country of origin, or serial number, so we are having a difficult time identifying the piece.
    The bells is engraved with the words "NEW ERA" which is a name associated with C.G. Conn and, to a lesser extent, Cavalier.
    The only numbers engraved are on each key; "85", "86", and "87", with the middle key having a small "3" under the "86".
    The numbers on the valve and style of the trumpet seem to place it as having European origin. We have found nearly identical Czech based trumpets by Keilwerth.
