Vintage Otomi Embroidery Blanket Mexican Tapestry BOHO Folk Art Textile

Vintage Otomi Embroidery Blanket. This was one of my grandfather's blankets left after he passed in 2015. I don't know the exact history but I was told he had it in the 1990s, if not earlier. It's very large, measuring close to the size of a king size bed at about 94 inches x 70 inches. It's hard to take a picture of the full blanket but I did my best with 80% of it in the first picture. One side had the 12 embroidery squares with a full pink border. The other side is the green and pink striped pattern seen in the last photo. It seems like there is one layer between the two sides. The fabric appears to be all cotton by I'm not 100% sure.
Condition is used and shows signs of wear. Some of the embroidery thread is loose along with a few places on the colored trim panels. One edge shows signs of discoloration. No major stains that I can see but the edges have some soiling that should come out. I have not attempted to dry clean or wash. I tried to showcase some of the most obvious flaws in the pictures.
