FL255) offering a very one of a kind Mexican rug from the 1940’s measuring 53” by 79”. This two panel hand woven rug is made from natural grey wool and dyed red wool. Information I received when purchased was this was in an Exhibition and called “The Unofficial Ambassador” exhibit #15. The number #15 is written on a piece of fabric and hand stitched onto the weaving. One break in the side on the wool warp. This two panel piece has a few moth chews along the center warp where it is stitched together, pictures. I have never seen or owned another weaving like this. Purchased in 1989 and from my private collection. Does not smell but can always need cleaning.
