    Description

Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.  This sale is for an Eastman Co. Large Format Camera   This is a turn of the century model prior to the Eastman Kodak name   It has a Waterbury lens that adjusts to 4 positions- Those being 15,20,25,35    It is a # 111700  Lens.     After speaking to a knowledgeable camera person I believe this is a 4 1/2" x 6 1/2"  camera      That is the lens I recieved with this camera.     The lens has some dirt in it from sitting for many many years    I myself dont intend to attempt cleaning the glass components because of not wanting to do something wrong.      After shining a light within the bellows which was fully extended at the time I didnt see even a hint of light coming through.    The wooden housing around the lens is missing half of it    George Eastman started the company in 1880 creating the first Kodak and this camera is of that period between 1880 and 1888 because he amended the company name to Eastman Kodak in 1888   The mfg. plate on this camera just says Eastman Co.     I am by no means an expert on these cameras but I believe my research is relatively accurate.  I welcome any input     The mechanisms are complete and working as far as every adjustable part and as far as I know there are no missing pieces.    The brass components are not corroded or green and I know are able to completely function in the way they were intended to.    This a very  nice example of the Brass and Wood cameras of this period.      PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT         I DO NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS
