This is an original, German Cigarette Card Collector book from the 1930's. It is titled: 'Uniforms of the old Army'. The book is designed to hold a total of 312 beautiful color uniform cards. These cards would have been available for sending away tokens. The first section within the book provides a complete overview of the structure of the Imperial German Army at the start of WW1 by Armeekorps, Divisions, Brigades and Regiments. The tables provide the following detail information: The Regiments and their Garrison Towns + cross reference to the cigarette card pic (showing the uniform of that regiment) + description for uniforms of regiments that do not have a sample pic (cigarette card), as well as additional information... The 312 cigarette cards represent almost all of the German Imperial Army Uniforms available at that time and the book is an invaluable reference to anyone interested in the Imperial German Army. The book is in good condition.
