This item is a H110-DGS motherboard with an Intel Celeron chip installed. We have pre-applied thermal paste to the CPU and covered with appropriate plastic for the convenience of adding a cooler to the CPU without need of fresh thermal paste.
We have tested this hardware, and it is compatible and works well. The only further hardware needed to turn this into a working computer is a Power Supply, a CPU Cooler, and RAM. Then you will have an upgradable, and customizable desktop computer.
Potential upgrades could include the installation of a GPU (Graphics Card) for purposes such as Gaming or Cryptocurrency Mining. For persons who only need a workstation, the integrated graphics will suffice.
The amount of thermal paste to apply to a CPU is highly debated, however studies show that above a minimal amount of thermal paste, applying "too much" does not decrease the efficiency of the cooler whatsoever. The buyer may feel free to wipe off, and re-apply thermal paste to their liking.
