    Description

    The item for sale is a white metal button bearing the eagle emblem of the German Empire under Prussia.  This would be the period after the Franco-Prussian War ended in 1871 and the beginning of the First World War.  The button was made by Mohr & Speyer, Berlin known for high quality elaborate swords.  The button was probably used on a uniform.   It does not appear to be damaged.  There is some slight wear but the detail is nearly full.  The diameter is 15/16".
