Imperial German, RARE Bavarian Officer’s Brocade Dress Belt & Buckle from the second largest Kingdom in the German Empire.The belt measures 39” long overall. The inside of the buckle shows the German copyright number ( see photo ). This Belt is missing the keeper that allows the belt to adjust to various sizes. Brocade Belts were worn only on ceremonial occasions and are quite rare. There is a slight issue on the interior of the belt ( see photo’s) the blue liner has seen it’s better day. The German Empire was composed of four Kingdoms, Prussia, Bavaria, Wurttemberg & Saxony in that order. This belt is a pre-war example from the Kingdom of Bavaria. Multiple purchases can be combined for postage savings.
