Imperial German,Late WW 1, Prussian Minty Enlisted Man's Large Belt /Buckle

Extremely Rare to find a late war large and thick belt marked 96 and measuring 40” to accommodate a waist 36-38”. This complete Prussian enlisted man's minty buckle with original & supple thick belt that the surface was dyed black to conform with mid-war regulations. The leather is complete and in remarkable shape for an item in excess of 103 years old. If this belt could speak it would have an incredible story to tell. The buckle is NOT DENTED on the crown which is uncommon for an item of this age. The German Empire was composed of four Kingdoms, Prussia, Bavaria, Wurttemberg & Saxony in that order. This belt thickness only indicates it is a pre-war example while the buckle is mid war example. Multiple purchases can be combined for postage savings.
