2003 Mercedes-Benz SLK320 V6 Convertible Salvage Rebuildable Repairable, Automatic, 128k Miles ENGINE RUNS GREAT! RUNS/DRIVES ! ALL AIRBAGS GOOD! As seen in the 50+ posted pictures this nice looking 2003 Mercedes SLK320 V6 Automatic with 128k miles has sustained light left front damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance company for resale in the condition you see it on the pictures below. We buy directly from insurance companies no middle man involved. Such vehicles can legally be returned back to the roads after proper repairs & your state salvage inspection. We have the salvage certificate of title (no liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures below. Looks like it was light left front corner impact just missing the front bumper assembly. Bumper support/rebar is attached and fully in tact and frame rails look straight. No damage to front cooling components (radiator, condenser, fans, etc). No leaks observed and AC blows cold air! Engine runs great and car lot runs/drives. All airbags good. Convertible top motor works but top would not open fully as the right quarter window does not roll down during top operation. The trunk lid does fold back normally when the convertible top operation is initiated but the top does not open/release. This is most likely due to the fact that right quarter glass not rolling down as it should. Overall condition of the vehicle is shown with 50+ posted pictures. The car starts, engine runs great, goes into gear, and lot runs/drives. Overall it should be an easy fixer with light body work and mainly reinstall of bolt on parts. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.

Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed).
