1963-1979 VW Beetle Type 3 Ghia Clutch Pressure Plate 200mm EMPI 1700Lb 321726
This High Strength Air Cooled Volkswagen Pressure Plate is perfect for drag race, sand dunes, off-road or high performance street applications. This 200mm pressure plate is rated at 1,700lbs and is factory balanced with the removable center ring to cover both early and late transmissions. This clutch is meant for high performance vehicles where you want to slip the clutch while driving.
This item can be used on an earlier VW Beetle with 180mm Flywheel and Clutch Plate if you upgrade to a 200mm Flywheel. If you do this, we suggest you count the number of teeth on your flywheel (where the starter motor meshes) as the earlier 6 Volt VW's have 109 teeth and the later ones 130 teeth.
